Lithuanian Tomato Salad

Ingredients
  

  • 2 beefsteak tomatoes cut into thin wedges*
  • 1 spring onion thinly sliced
  • 45 g (3 tbsp) sour cream
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon dill finely chopped

Instructions
 

  • Place the tomato wedges and spring onion in a large mixing bowl.
  • Toss everything with sour cream, salt and pepper.
  • Scatter chopped dill on top, and serve immediately!

*In Lithuanian cooking, the green bit where the tomato fruit attaches to the stem is always cut out and discarded.
